Electronics Technician / Mechatronics Technician for Machine Integration and Commissioning

Are you good at organizing circuit diagrams, cables, and high-tech systems?

Fusion Bionic is a deep tech company based in Dresden. We develop laser-based machines and modules for industrial surface functionalization. Our technology creates micro- and nanostructures on surfaces—for applications in glass, photovoltaics, semiconductors, and industry.

We are looking for someone to support our technical systems in the areas of electronics, wiring, and machine integration—someone who can not only read schematics but also turn them into working hardware. And someone who knows that when something “should work,” that’s often when the real work begins.

Your tasks:

You will install and integrate electrical and electronic components into machines, systems, and technical modules. These include sensors, actuators, motors, power supplies, control systems, safety components, and peripherals.

You will work with circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, terminal diagrams, and bills of materials; assist with commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting; and document tests, changes, and error patterns in a traceable manner.

You will also work closely with the design, software, production, and quality assurance teams.

You bring along:

You have completed an apprenticeship as a microelectronics technician, electronics technician for devices and systems, industrial electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or hold a comparable qualification.

You have experience in assembling and wiring machines, systems, or technical modules. You are confident in handling electrical and electronic components, measurement and testing methods, and ESD protection measures.

Additional skills we’d love to see:

Basic knowledge of control technology, such as PLCs, Beckhoff/TwinCAT, or Siemens; experience in custom machine or plant engineering; knowledge of control panel construction, Eplan, pneumatics, drive technology, automation technology, CE documentation, FAT/SAT, or ERP, PLM, and documentation systems.

What to expect:

You can expect to work with sophisticated high-tech systems, short lines of communication, an interdisciplinary team, and tasks that require precision, proactive thinking, and meticulous execution.

No anonymous assembly line work. No job ads where a “dynamic environment” is the only selling point. Instead, technology that really has to work—and people who are eager to work together to make it better.

Interested?

We look forward to receiving your application.
Feel free to send us your resume and a few words about why you're interested in electronics, mechanical engineering, and high-tech in Dresden.
